Project Design Manager - Civils and Rail

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to work with a key player in the civil engineering and rail industry.
The main purpose of the role is to assume responsibility for the coordination of permanent and temporary works design for civil engineering and rail projects including structures, earthworks, culverts, drainage and some buildings.
You will work with the Engineering Team to review Sub Contract Designers deliverables to ensure they meet the clients remit and comply to legislative and health and safety standards.
You will be conscious of buildability, third party interfaces and Safe by Deign principles.
You will review and approve Design Submissions, liaise with consultants and delivery teams as well as work with clients and end users to progress designs through to delivery.
The location is flexible with some home working and office bases in either Wigan or Glastonbury and frequent meeting nationally.
