Job Title: Project Contracts Manager (Electrical biased engineer)

Salary: £40000 - £45000 per annum

Based: Hinkley, Leicester

Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday -Friday 08.00 - 16.30

Benefits: 33 days leave (incl 8 bank hols), Free tea/coffee, Free parking

Our client works closely with a number of international engineering companies whose expertise is in scalable waste water treatment systems and containerised waste water treatment systems for municipal and industrial applications. Due to experiencing growth they are looking to add to their team an office based experienced Electrical and Mechanical Projects Contract Manager to manage their highly skilled team. You would be very involved in the tendering side of the business as well including the design element of projects. .Your exceptional knowledge of waste water treatment along with your Electrical degree and/or time served Electrical experience and knowledge of tenders is essential to this position of Project Contracts Manager. This position is office based. If you have managed multiple projects of over £1 million each and fit below please give us a call.

Project Contracts Manager (Electrical biased engineer) Main Role is:

Financial management of the project budget and accountability for the project deliverable
Management of suppliers and sub-contractors on and off site which includes taking minutes of meetings
Develop and maintain project installation programme using EXCEL or MS Project preparing of internal monthly project reports/ maintain a site diary as required.
Site commissioning and client sign off and all project documentation
Interpreting drawings for fabrication and installation with approved subcontractors as well as using AutoCad for amending and marking up drawings
Ensure risk assessments, QMS, heath and safety training certificates are maintained
Building strong relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and subcontractors
Work closely with in-house design engineers as well as engineers in the field
Provide weekly progress reports on all projects to the Company Directors
Provide support in tender preparation on installations costs

Skills Required for Project Contracts Manager (Electrical biased engineer) position:

Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 year's experience or proven 5 years experienced time served
Experience within the waste water industry - preferable
Proven tendering experience
Reliable, pro-active, ability to work on own initiative, problem solve and work under pressure
