Java Developer - Berkshire - Remote working - £75K
Do you want to be a developer who makes a difference to thousands of lives? Could your skills help the UK in this pandemic? Have you always wanted to work somewhere that's work is for the greater good? This is the ideal role for you!
Austin Fraser is representing a software business that has development at its core and continues to hire and grow remotely through this current pandemic.
The business's top priority is about doing things in the right way and this is supported by the fact that the company operates in the healthcare industry. It's software changes the way patients in critical care are managed and specifically is helping the NHS in the COVID19 outbreak. This opportunity is an attractive proposition for those who want to get involved with software development that has a purpose and puts peoples lives at the forefront of their work.
We have been partnered with this company for a number of years and it is evident in the feedback from the engineers placed there that it is a great place to work, leaving at the end of the day with satisfaction that their work has helped save lives. They have a family feel and all have a sense of belonging supporting the UK healthcare system both now and into the future.
The business is showing signs of huge growth at a time others are slowing down. They are conducting remote virtual interviews and onboarding remotely.
These positions will be part of a core technology team with no limits in the tech stack used but the platform is multithreaded and has many layers and applications.
The experience we are looking for is;
- Strong Java Server-side development experience
- Experience with real-time server environments
My client appreciates the fact that not everyone would have worked with all of these technologies so applications welcome from candidates with a different technical background who have a willingness to adapt.
In return for your expertise, you would join an organisation that has a sense of purpose to its software by improving patient care within the hospitals across the UK.
Flexible working (3/4 Days Remote) - Remote working is a must right now but they are of the mindset that you will work where you are productive for the foreseeable future and that's why 3 days remote is a standard for all (if you want to work remotely that is!).
Bonus (typically 15%)
