This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished Category Manager to join the procurement team of a leading manufacturer of medical diagnostic systems and assist in the development of its' supply chain and the ongoing management and support of their clients.
As the Category Manager you will be responsible for the sourcing, development and launching of new and innovative products into the business to enhance new market opportunities whilst negotiating and implementing all supplier commercial terms and developing and managing product category plans linking to market data, competitor analysis and financial goals.
Other key responsibilities will include implementing and analysing product pricing plans working closely with the sales teams to have the right pricing points and best margin opportunities, liaising with the marketing team through promotional activity, product guides and launching of new product ranges and maintaining full product integrity through supplier T&C's, product accreditation and specification including price and product file maintenance.
You will be a confident Category Manager or Senior Buyer with a track record of working with sophisticated capital equipment and a thorough understanding of leasing, rental,service and maintenance contracts and agreements.
CIPS qualified, you will be an accomplished negotiator, with the ability to achieve positive and commercially beneficial outcomes for clients, suppliers and the company alike whilst maintaining healthy profit margins.
