Job Details

Celsian Education are looking for a Nursery Nurses to work within Leeds Primary schools.

1. To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children in the setting.

2. To give support to their staff within the setting.

3. To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.

4. To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable childrens needs to be met.

You must be qualified with an NNEB, BTEC Level 2 or 3, CACHE Level 2 or 3 or the equivalent within early years and be an experienced Nursery Nurse.

Pay: £70 per day

Formal qualifications are desirable but experience can sometimes be a suitable substitute and considered depending on experience . A good standard of basic education is usually required though, with most school nurseries requiring Maths and English G.C.S.Es, The main qualifications required for this post , namely: -
CACHE Level 2 /3 Certificate in Child Care and Education
City & Guilds, NNEB Level 2 / 3
CACHE or BTEC Certificate in Children's Care, Learning and Development
NVQ Level 2 / 33 in Children's Care, Learning and Development (a work placement is usually needed for this which you will have to arrange yourself.)
