An opportunity has arisen for a Programme Manager with experience in Transport Policy / Transport Planning to join a client in Oxfordshire. Working on a number of sustainable transport projects your main duties include delivering a range of walking and cycling schemes, active as the focal point between internal and external partners, overseeing a large number of transport / infrastructure projects and securing various funding streams from developers and stakeholders.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer £400 - £450 per day - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements / working from home options are available.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Delivering a range of active / sustainable travel, transport and highway schemes
·Active as the focal point for work coordination between internal and external partners
·Securing various funding streams from developers and key stakeholders
·Planning and delivering major transport infrastructure programmes across the area
