Management Accountant - Permanent - Wirral

Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is proud to be supporting the recruitment requirements of a large, growing organisation on the Wirral who are keen to appoint a senior Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

The ideal applicant will be an experienced, qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA), Management Accountant with an impressive background who is familiar to the pace of working for an international organisation.

Demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills is a must, as you will be given the autonomy to lead, coach, support and develop a growing accounts team who are responsible for a number of transactional tasks covering treasury, banking and sales.

As the the main go-to-person for the preparation of UK financial accounting reporting, you will be required to manage the following;

• Lead the month end / year end close, delivering all financial information and statutory reporting including VAT
• Manage the performance and development of team including annual appraisals
• Complete budgeting and forecasting
• CAPEX management
• Activelt promote a culture of continuous improvement

Knowledge and experience of Manufacturing / Engineering sector and SOX reporting would be of a distinct advantage.

Flexible working: you will be required to set up and work from home, however once the landscape changes, the business is planning to return its work force back to the office.
