A client school in the Prestwich area of Bury have come to Supply Desk with a requirement for a Year 4 Teacher starting in February. The reason behind this vacancy is a recent resignation
The school is a two form entry Primary school that is Outstanding by OFSTED. The class is of average size and is impeccably behaved with a Teaching Assistant to be deployed how you wish within class. Within the class there is one pupil with English as an additional language who is working just below national average but with some focussed time will be able to make the expected progress. Planning for the class will be done collaboratively with the other Year 4 Teacher which will aid work load.
The school are looking for a Teacher with experience in lower Key stage 2 to come in and hit the ground running with the class and ensure a smooth transition in to your style of teaching. The school like to employ teachers that have a resourceful nature and positive praise is widely used throughout school as their form of behaviour management.
This position is to start in September for a minimum of three terms with it having the potential to continue in to the next academic year.
