Howarth Morris are currently recruiting a Financial Accountant role for a well-established and highly regarded £100m+ t/o business in Warrington.

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the preparation of financial accounts for the business with duties encompassing P&L cash flow forecasting, high volume balance sheet reconciliations, VAT, fixed assets, petty cash as well as providing support to the finance and treasury department. Overseeing 2 finance clerks you will ensure compliance with company finance policy and will assist the Head of Finance in delivering robust financial controls

Applicants will be Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA and will have strong technical accounting experience. Candidates who are qualified by experience are also encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to consolidate your finance expertise whilst supporting a medium sized finance team in a role where you will eventually move to support more commercial aspects of the business. A salary of £40k-£45k is complimented with 25 days holiday, flexitime and on-site parking. Please note: This role is a 12 month contract.
