Protocol are working with a social justice charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities and reducing crime. They house, educate, support, advise, and speak out for and with disadvantaged young people and adults. They are passionate about changing lives.

They understand that each young person is different and has specific needs, strengths and goals. Personalised Study Programmes and vocational courses provide young people and adults with the skills they need to move in to further education, training or employment in the area that is right for them. Partnering with employers to ensure students are enthusiastic, work-ready and reliable. Many of the young people have had problems at school, or can't or don't want to attend their local college.

We are currently looking to recruit a Teacher Co-ordinator for a full-time role (Mondays - Friday 9am - 5pm) travelling nationwide between 13 centres and 1 college from Carlisle to Southampton! You will coordinate the delivery of tutorial classes, being the main point of contact between centres and tutors.

The position is available on a temporary basis (to be reviewed after 3 months) and expected to continue until at least June 2021.

* Develop a programme of needs-based Tutorials and support for students on English, Maths, Wellbeing, and study skills, using resources provided and developing own resources.
* Design, plan and deliver the internally led Tutorial curriculum in English and maths, study skills and Wellbeing, in line with the education Inspection framework (EIF), awarding body standards and curriculum guidance and quality standards, and supported by our English and Maths expert leaders and mental health and well-being experts
* Effectively lead the delivery of the internal and externally delivered Catch up tutorial programme in line with DfE/ ESFA Guidance for students aged 16-19 years and those with special educational needs and provide reports on compliance and impact as required
* Take responsibility for the communication of organisational and local messages through regular and effective team meetings
* Challenge direct reports to continually consider better ways of delivering outcomes for their service users/learners

* A UK teaching qualification (DET equivalent or above)
* Excellent classroom management skills
* English and Maths Level 2, (Level 3-5 Desirable)
* Be committed to Safeguarding and Equality and Diversity
* (Desirable) Previous experience of Further Education and NEETS
