ICT Service Desk Technician

Portishead (with some agile working and other office locations)

£22,837 - £25,375 per annum

Permanent, 37 hours per week

About the role:

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an ICT Service Desk Technician to join them.

This is a key role within the ICT support team, you will be responsible for providing first and second line support. Working with the team, you will ensure that effective ICT systems are in place to support their users. You will provide assistance to their users for both hardware and software issues as well as carrying out routine testing and upgrades as well as daily checks.

Within this diverse role you will also have the opportunity to support implementation projects.

About you:

They are looking for a proactive, hardworking person who can help them to deliver an efficient, end to end support service to their users. To be successful in this role, you will have experience of working in a customer focussed environment and will be able to demonstrate excellent ICT skills. You will have a good understanding of a range of computer systems and mobile technologies.

You will be a natural problem solver with knowledge of ITIL and IT best practices. A confident communicator, you will have the ability to provide technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand. You will have a demonstrable interest in technology and be motivated in personal and professional development.

Above all, you will have a genuine interest in the work that they do and a passion to help them deliver an excellent support service.
