Automation Tester - £60,000 - £65,000 - London

An Ecommerce client in London are looking for an Automation Tester to help create global technology products. As the Automaton Tester you will be testing expert in your team in terms of approaches, tooling and delivery. The successful Automation Tester will define and implement / enhance the current testing framework with cutting-edge automation engineering patterns and practices.

Automation Tester Responsibilities:

• Drive the testing approach ensuring that all changes released to the products have full test
• coverage, aiming for 100% automation
• Manage the tools, processes and integrations required to ensure the code quality remains
• high
• Work effectively with engineering teams across different technology stacks, ensuring testing
• solutions are well integrated and issues found from tests are clearly communicated and
• understood
• Support your engineering colleagues so that testing is a team-wide responsibility

Automation Tester Skills:

• Degree/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent of education/work experience
• 2+ years of test automation with modern toolsets
• Full stack development exposure, demonstrating understanding of test automation coverage
• challenges across UI and backend
• Experience working with Continuous Integration tools for testing
• Experience testing against APIs/data streams
• 2+ years of professional software development experience/ building production software
• systems
• Experience building a product from concept to prototype and implementation
• Experience with the tools of the trade including Cucumber, TestCafe, Cypress, BrowserStack,
• CircleCI, Git, Confluence/Jira, Postman, TestRail
