Fantastic opportunity available to join a leading private contract holder as their ESF Contract Manager. We are looking for a learner focussed and dynamic Contract Manager to take full ownership of the ESF contract and develop a plan for the project. As this is a senior level role, we are ideally looking for a ESF Contract Manager that has strong sector specific experience and good knowledge of European Social Fund regulations.
The company are looking for a quality driven and reliable Contract Manager who can lead from the front and support staff to build on ongoing success. As part of this role, you will be managing a team of 6 delivery and support staff to ensure effective delivery as well as a team of 3 subcontractors.

- 30-month contract with a view to go permanent
- £35,000 per annum
- 25 holiday days + statutory
The company are looking for a quality driven and reliable Contract Manager who can lead from the front and support staff to build on ongoing success. As part of this role, you will be managing a team of 6 delivery and support staff to ensure effective delivery as well as a team of 3 subcontractors.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an Implementation plan for the project
- Proactively lead on performance against funding, outcomes and quality targets
- Develop processes that are ESF compliant and that meet audit requirements
- Advise, support and inform partners on contract development, implementation and reporting
- Managing subcontractor performance; engaging and supporting in developing Early Years programmes that deliver on the project outcomes
- Working with the Quality Manager to oversee quality audits and observations
- Strong understanding of European Social Fund regulations, as well as compliance with all funding rules and awarding organisation regulations
- Monitoring KPI's, including contract performance and quality of delivery
- Attend standardisation and panel meetings to report on progress and meet with External Verifiers as and when required
- Building strong client relationships to facilitate opportunities for growth
- To collect information about project outcomes and successes
Skills and requirements:
- Commercially minded with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and partners at all levels
- Strong experience in managing training delivery programmes with a proven track record of success
- Knowledge of the Early Years Sector
- Previous experience of European Social Funding
- A teaching qualification at level 4 or above, PGCE, DTTLS (desirable)
- Assessment and Internal Verification / Quality Assurance Qualification (A1 / CAVA / V1 / IQA)
