Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Primary, Secondary, SEN

Your new schoolWe have a high demand for Teaching Assistants already and you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different schools in your local area and will be employed through HAYS on a short-term or long-term basis depending on your availability. There are also opportunities to be hired permanently through the schools directly depending on their staffing needs.

Your new role
As a qualified level 3 Teaching Assistant you will be working in primary, secondary and could be supporting SEN students. You will work along side the Teacher and Inclusion Support Leader to understand EHCPs and develop strategies. You will use your primary or secondary curriculum knowledge to support the students in class and you will have high expectations of progression and behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification and have an understanding of special educational needs and in particular Autism. You must have knowledge of the primary curriculum and have strong behaviour management skills. You will also need to be a great team player, organised, committed, and enthusiastic.
