Job Details

Our client are looking for a Junior Buyer to join the business to assist and manage supplier products, negotiations and also any related administration tasks. The successful applicant will be providing procurement and inventory control assistance to the Head of Procurement and Logistics and Senior Buyer.

Description

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
  • Investigation and resolution of delivery and invoice discrepancies
  • Price negotiations with suppliers
  • Expediting Purchase Requisitions against the company database and creation of Purchase Orders.
  • Management and stock control of inventory, including regular evaluation of stock and re-ordering as necessary
  • Monthly reporting and bi-annual product and performance review of nominated vendor accounts

Profile

The successful candidate will:
  • Have 2 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Good negotiation skills and confidence in having these conversation
  • Able to communicate clearly to deliver vital information
  • Good understanding of the P2P process
  • Have the ability to process confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Have strong and proven Microsoft Office Skills
