Now providing their Corporate Action System to some of the largest worldwide banks as their global solution, our client is at an exciting period of business growth and are now looking to expand their team to develop the next version of their system, as well as working on legacy systems. The development will require Java implementations of APIs and micro-services as part of the re-engineering of the Corporate Action System to a microservices / web-based architecture.
The company culture is based on working to project deadlines and actively encourage flexible working, rather than based on fixed working patterns or the number of hours working in the office. The ideal candidate can choose to be based either at home, in the main office in West Yorkshire or a combination of home and office working.
Java Developer Requirements:
The key demonstratable technical skills required are:
- API (REST and SOAP)
- Microservices Architectures
Preferred experience or understanding of:
- Unit Testing tools and techniques
- Have the flexibility to work in Agile, Waterfall or any client dictated project structure.
- Be able to work both individually and as part of a team working closely with the Front-End Developers.
- Deliver quality, testable software for the new version of the Corporate Action Total Solution.
- Be able to work both remotely and within the office as required.

Contract type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
