IT Support Engineer, permanent job - Southampton. Salary up to £30,000 plus benefits. Corporate organisation

You will join a company that is a global leader in it's field and employs over 10,000 people worldwide. Due to increasing demand on IT in their Southampton office a role has arisen for an IT Support Engineer to join a larger, remote team and provide top class IT Support to over 200 people. The role currently offers remote working but will return to being office-based post-pandemic.
Your new role
You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining IT services and providing support to users via the IT Service Desk and eventually face-to-face. You will handle and manage incoming support calls or tickets, troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve and/or escalate issues as appropriate in a fast and efficient manner. You will always provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with business users to promote IT as an enabler within the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar 2nd line IT Support role in a corporate environment. You will have comprehensive knowledge and experience of Windows 10, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange, virtualisation technologies such as Hyper V or VMWare, remote access and an understanding of ITIL framework.
