an exciting opportunity to join NHS Tayside
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children's Oncology Nurse Service for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide expert clinical care to the children (and their families) with cancer.
The Tayside Paediatric Oncology team is a well established and experienced
Multi-disciplinary team. You will work alongside nurse specialists providing a high quality service to children and young people with cancer.
To meet the challenges of this exciting initiative you must hold an RSCN or RN -Child qualification. Have a minimum of 5 years post registration, with proven evidence of management experience and an excellent working knowledge base of paediatric oncology. An 'administration of Chemotherapy' course completion and proven leadership skills are essential for this post.
Care will be provided predominantly within Tayside Children's Hospital with support occasionally required within Community settings throughout Tayside and North East Fife.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with the ability to work autonomously and within a flexible working pattern.
Travelling between sites is necessary.
