Reed are working with a construction business in Bagshot who are looking to recruit an accounts assistant. This role would suit someone who is studying AAT, with 1-2 years experience in an accounts department.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Duties of this role will include:
  • Batching, matching and coding of purchase invoices, as well as entering these onto the accounts system
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Preparing weekly and monthly BACS/cheque payment runs
  • Producing and running payroll for over 100 staff
  • Resolving external AP and internal payroll queries
  • Supporting the rest of the accounts team with ad-hoc tasks

Required Skills/Experience

Previous experience in payroll would be a big advantage

Demonstrable purchase ledger skills are also a plus
