A leading global investment bank headquartered in the US is hiring for a European Marketing Manager.

The purpose of the role will be leading the marketing across Europe on a strategic level and communicate plans globally to raise the status of this well-established brand.

The role is perfect for a mid-level - senior candidate with marketing experience at a global brand in either investment banking or private equity. The chosen candidate will have a specialist focus on Europe and have operated at a strategic level.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Developing a long-term business plan based on both the short and long term needs of the business in cohesion with the global heads.
  • Partnering with senior figures in the investment bank to develop a thorough understanding of the firm's products, clients, and growth plans.
  • Lead the completion of large scale marketing projects, whilst servicing as an escalation point to resolve any identified risks to the project.
  • Ensure market-leading materials are available to the wider team whilst evaluating the effectiveness of existing and future campaigns and events.
  • Have an expert understanding of the wider market place and conduct in-depth research of the latest practices that will allow enhanced communications and campaign effectiveness.
  • Lead by example and assist and mentor more junior staff.
  • Identify costs and budgets for marketing projects and obtain stakeholder's approval to meet these criteria.
  • Additional responsibilities as requested.

Candidate Requirements
  • A minimum of 7+ (or relevant) years in marketing in the investment banking of private equity space.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, communications, or business required, master's degree preferred.
  • Top verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and confidence to communicate marketing plans effectively to senior members of the business and then to execute those plans
  • Experience working for a large global firm in the financial space and an understanding of the importance of a unified global brand and message.
  • Required traits include: Positive attitude, highly organized, strong attention to detail, and self-starter who can flourish both independently and in a team environment.
  • Exceptional ability to develop creative marketing solutions to drive results.
  • Ability to create, design, and edit digital marketing content.
  • Salesforce / Microsoft office expertise.
  • Experience gauging performance metrics.
