Senior Paraplanner

Leading private bank offering banking, wealth management and investment Management services. Looking to recruit a Senior Paraplanner due to continued growth of the Bristol office.

Job purpose

• To assist Wealth Planners in developing and maintaining profitable and long-standing relationships with high net worth (HNW) clients
• To enable the Wealth Planners to advise clients effectively on complex products in all asset classes, wealth structuring, estate planning, retirement planning and protection
• To assist Wealth Planners in creating and implementing comprehensive and compliant financial solutions for individuals, businesses and organisations, utilising your knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans and tax efficient investment
• Work with internal and external business partners to offer bespoke wealth management solutions
• Researching and analysing information for client solutions
• Preparing meeting agendas and reports
• Play a significant part in the service delivery, dealing with client requests and processing data

Knowledge/experience

• Significant experience as a Paraplanner
• Previous experience supporting Financial Planners is preferred
• A good understanding of the HNW segment and market
• Understanding of the heavily regulated financial planning environment
• Must be able to respond to the changing needs of the business
• Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) essential ? Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 6) desirable
