Job Title: Senior Transport Planner

Office Location: Derby

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000

A position has opened up for a Transport Planner with a consultancy background in development planning, to join a multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Derby.

With a healthy pipeline of work lined up over the short & long term, you will have the opportunity to run your own projects alongside an experienced team, whilst also assisting in the development of more junior staff.

Candidate Specification:

Strong background within consultancy based transport planning;
Experienced in junction capacity assessments & modelling;
Experience of working on transport assessments & travel plans;
AutoCAD / design experience would beneficial;
Degree level education;
Excellent communication & presentation skills.If successful, you would be joining a close knit-team who offer an excellent environment for development, whilst working on a mix of residential, large commercial and Highways England schemes. The team are also looking to begin offering microsimulation as an in-house resource and so any capabilities in this area would be of interest.

You will also earn a starting salary of up to £40,000, along with an extensive benefits package.
