An exciting opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive to join the Commercial team at our Newark site has become available. The successful candidate will be site based and working in a fast-paced environment, on the M & S account. In addition, you will support the wider commercial team on other accounts.

DUTIES:

Carries out full analysis of all promotional activity, pre and post promotion, and presents back with recommendations.
Provides analysis of sales to monitor; impact of launches; change in store distribution; promotions; weather and other influences and presents recommendations as to how performance can be improved.
Manages all internal communication to ensure clear understanding of product range changes, promotions etc.
Undertakes project work and tasks as directed by the Commercial team.
Acts as support / cover for the Commercial Managers / Commercial Controllers in the day to day running of the retailer account on routine account management issues. Exceptional issues to be raised to a higher level.
Interacts with relevant departments to ensure awareness of customer requirements, actively identifying methods of improvement.
Man, mark assistant buyer and stock control contacts to further develop the retailer relationship. With support from the Commercial Manager, develop and maintain a relationship with buyer for smaller categories.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Experience in commercial - desirable
Proven experience working in a similar role within a busy team
Excellent IT skills - Excel
Methodical with an excellent eye for detail
