Java Software Engineer

The company are recruiting due to a growing business workload, and are looking for 2X Java Engineers to join the team. The Software Java Engineer will be hands on technically, with technical Software coding experience, ideally someone at Senior - Principal Level, although we can consider a junior applicant with the relevant technical expertise.

As a Software Java Engineer you will be join an innovative team where you will be working on a military software tool set, and working in an Agile framework. The tool is a N-tier Rich Web Application, built on SOA and web services. The team works from a Scrum prioritised backlog, with daily stand-ups. The application provides users with a single source-of-truth in collation and management of targeting data.

Experience needed:

Commercial experience in Java, ideally Java 8/11
Software technical experience in one or more of the following:
Spring
Hibernate/JPA
JUnit/Mockito
Web Services(SOAP REST)
JavaScript /UIDesirable:

Google Web Toolkit
Jasper Reports
Geographic Information Systems
Maven
JIRA
