A large global company with a UK office based in Crewe is recruiting a Finance Controls Lead on a permanent basis. This is a business-critical role where the successful candidate will work closely with teams across finance pursuing adherence to corporate policies and controls to ensure the integrity of the financial statements, compliance and reporting. This will include production and review of a full set of monthly management accounts for multiple entities as well as coordinating successful statutory audit completion including internal audits. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a good mix of technical and stakeholder influencing skills to join a dynamic and growing global business.


Manage the 'Month End Close' process across multiple entities
Review Management Accounts and Financial Reporting
Manage the audit process and liaise with external personnel
Oversee the preparation of year end statutory accounts
Lead, mentor and motivate the accounting team
Ensure robust financial systems and processes (new ERP implementation underway)
Drive adherence to policies, SOX and controls across the UK organization
Review balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
Review the cash flow forecast and manage net working capital
Work closely with Regional Controller to coordinate process improvements

Essential attributes required:

Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at senior management level
ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant with significant post qualification experience
Strong Excel and general IT skills
