Senior Structural Engineer

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a well established, busy Engineering Consultancy in Leicester.
As a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy they focus on projects within the built environment and have an impressive and varied, project portfolio consisting of large scale residential works, commercial, educational, leisure, health care and retail developments .
The focus of this role would predominantly be the design and delivery of a multitude of projects from conceptual stage through to construction phase. The ideal candidate will ideally have:
* A good, solid knowledge of and background in building structures design
* Experience in the design of all common build materials
* The ability to think on their feet and work independently on projects with minimal supervision
* Be proactive in their work and thought processes
* Ability to utilise their knowledge of main build materials and design skills to produce accurate and effective design packages for their Clients
* Good written and verbal communication abilities to ensure communication throughout the team and with Clients is effective
Chartership with ICE or IStructE would be of benefit but is not essential to the role
