We are the leading provider of fresh prepared food in the UK, with an international presence in the US and China. Our 19,000 employees operate from 39 locations, developing and producing innovative food for a wide variety of occasions and budgets. In the UK, we work with leading grocery retailers, focusing on their own label brands.

Bakkavor's Group Services functions are based in Spalding, Lincolnshire with a small number of people working at the Group's Head Office in London. There are around 350 working across functions such as IT, Procurement, Finance, HR, Technical, Marketing and Administration.

We are looking for an experienced and flexible Business Analyst who can deliver high quality business analysis activities within the Business Systems function.

We are looking for a skilled business analyst, an excellent problem solver, who can work cross-domain on business-critical projects. The role requires someone with at least 3 years business analysis experience, with experience working on projects from inception, capturing and managing business requirements, supporting vendor selection, driving the creation of the business case and ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the business.

We need a self-starter with an excellent customer focus, who is adaptable and confident to manage their own workload to deliver the requirements of stakeholders on time and to a good quality. You will be expected to be comfortable and adaptable to work on a range of projects concurrently, varying in size and complexity. Although non-essential, it would be preferred that you have an understanding of working in both agile and waterfall project environments, and have experience in working alongside IT colleagues both technical and non-technical.

Responsibilities.

Gathering and managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Documenting and re-engineering business processes using best practice techniques.
Supporting the selection of best value solutions to meet business needs.
Providing options analysis and recommendations supported by clear and concisely presented evidence.
Establish project deliverables and define project scope.
Creation of project brief and business case documents for projects.
Creation of high level financial analysis and plans for implementation, working with both internal and external suppliers.
Working closely with key organisational stakeholders at a range of levels
