Job Title: Content Marketing Assistant - Ideal role for a Marketing Graduate
Reports to: Head of Business Development
Location: Chester
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 dep on exp
Our client is recruiting for a Marketing Assistant to join their busy team in a newly created role. You'll be working with the management team creating and assisting with the creation of on-brief B2B content that can convey the right message in a compelling and engaging manner across a range of formats and channels.
What You'll Do
Assist with the development and execution of a digital content
Be the brand guardian for all copy
Assist with marketing campaigns and activities
Maintain content on the website
Draft and proofread business letters and marketing documents, including external communications, promotional materials and online content
Create content for new service development initiatives
Create and manage Twitter and LinkedIn content, plus other corporate social media channels as required
Oversee online content campaigns
Maintain central marketing resource filing, including soft and hard copies of templates, brand guidelines, brand assets, approved collateral, exhibition materials, etc
Carry out market research and competitor analysis
Co-ordinate the production of printed marketing materials, merchandise and other collateral
Who You Are
You will have at least a Grade B in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and preferably a higher-level English and marketing qualification
You can demonstrate strong copywriting, proofreading skills, and have strong attention to detail.
You're an excellent verbal and written communicator and know how to build great professional relationships.
You're a whizz at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
You have good visual literacy and an understanding of the principles of branding.
You can demonstrate a high degree of self-management and initiative and an aptitude for learning.
You're a team player that shows a hands-on attitude, dedication, and the ability to operate comfortably with your colleagues.
You'll have the ability to perform under pressure and manage a diverse and heavy workload
