Junior Web Developer

Junior Web Developer required to join our leading independent Colchester based client in their web development team. If you possess a basic level of HTML/CSS coding, are passionate about web and are keen to begin your career in web development, this is the role for you! In your role as Junior Web Developer your work will contribute directly to the core business priorities and make a meaningful impact on a daily basis particularly as you will be working on with some very high-profile brands. As junior web developer you will be working with a supportive team of peers who have all worked in this position and will be there to help support and nurture you. The essential building blocks they are looking for is enthusiasm and determination to learn in building your career in web development.

The Role

• Your projects will start with workflows that they've refined over the years
• Working with various members of the internal teams
• Helping to build upon and maintain a portfolio of over 30 websites and other digital products
• Part of experienced web development team
• Working to deadlines
• Liaising with various internal and external people

The Person

• Must possess a basic level of HTML/CSS coding
• Passionate about the web and all things digital
• Set a higher bar for your work than anyone else
• Keen to learn new skills and expand on existing ones
• Possess a basic understanding of web development and best practices.
• Time management skills, organisation
• Eager to develop your chosen career of web development
• Ability to cope under pressure are a must.
• Sense of humour and a solid work ethic
