The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with a well renowned business in the legal sector, with multiple offices across the country. Entering the new year they are keen to bolster their friendly finance team with the addition of an experienced and dynamic Assistant Accountant to join their Northampton office on a full time, permanent basis.
In this role they will be looking for someone to work closely with the FD and Assistant FD to help with the smooth running of the firms finance department. You will find yourself assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and statutory accounts, maintaining the accounting system (including identifying trends and anomalies), you will also be given the opportunity to improve processes and procedures. In addition to this you will oversee the firm's PL function, lead a team of Legal Cashiers, assistant with month end management and financial accounting and year end payroll procedures.
To be considered for this position you will ideally be a part qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/ILFM) and will possess a strong background in both end to end Payroll and BAU Accounting processes. Legal experience is highly desirable and along with the system knowledge of SOS and/or LucaNet.
The role is paying up to £45,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
