Your role as Product Marketing Manager is to manage the product portfolio, setting the product road map and developing and implementing successful product marketing strategies for the facades product category. Not only are you responsible for traditional product management but you will also be involved in marketing activities to bring the product to market and to promote it.
As Product Marketing Manager you will be proactive; able to manage multiple priorities, be inquisitive to learn about our products, our customers and the market in order to problem solve, and use this knowledge to enhance our product offer. You will communicate effectively with customers, Marketing Communications and the Commercial team to improve category performance. You will plan and develop product marketing strategies, coming up with ideas to better the category offering and performance.

Manage the product portfolio throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
Define product strategy to ensure that the business has the correct mix of profitable products and services that meet market needs.Product Marketing:
Develop and implements marketing strategies to correctly position and launch products to the right target audiences
Translate strategies into clear campaign briefs with detailed KPI's for the Marketing Communications and Commercial teams
Work with communications to create materials that highlight product features and benefits to the customer
Translate product features into benefits for the end user and empowers the sales team with clear value propositions.
Map out the buying process, user journeys and develop personas for each customer typeCustomer Understanding:
Cultivate an understanding of what appeals to customers and what represents value to them to develop a compelling product offer
Conduct regular customer researchMarketing Understanding & Insight:
Research and understand competitor and market trends to determine product strategies and identify opportunities for NPD.
Market segmentation and targeting
Anticipate future trends, suggest new products and develop a business case for their introductionAnalysis & Reporting:
Use data analysis skills to produce business cases, forecasts and review product performance
Regularity analyse and report on category and individual product performanceNPD Project Management:
Manage and co-ordinate NPD across departments, ensuring buy-in and timely, successful and profitable product launches
Project manage the NPD process using a stage and gate process
Track NPD sales and develop plans to ensure target are reachedIn addition to the Saint-Gobain Attitudes mentioned above, suitability for the role is key. In order to be successful in this role, you should have:
GCSEs & A Levels (Essential)
Degree in business or marketing (Desirable)
CIM qualification (Desirable)
Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager
Data analysis and insights
Construction industry experience is highly desirable
