Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEN specialist school in Bishop Auckland (DL14) who are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with a variety of additional needs.
The role will require you to support with classroom based tasks and also work on a 1:1 basis supporting children with a range of special educational needs including:

Although the role is based in a Primary school, our client is happy to consider candidates with a passion for education who come from care work backgrounds. Candidates with qualifications in Health and Social Care, Counselling Skills are also highly desired. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and passionate team. This is an ongoing role, to commence after February Half Term.

Come from a care or education background
To be accepted for this role, you must have a Child Workforce Only DBS that is registered on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
