I am pleased to be supporting the SEND Faculty within a mainstream secondary school based in the Hastings area who are looking for a speech, language and literacy teaching assistant.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity which requires an immediate start. The school could initially start the role on a supply basis to ensure they have got the right person, but also for you to ensure this is the right job and school for you, before you commit.
Offering £20,493 36 weeks, term time.
The school are looking for a member of staff who has experience in working with students who have low literacy levels, speech and language difficulties and dyslexia.
The member of staff will be responsible for leading on this within the SEND faculty and contributing towards the development of the whole school literacy program.
You will be required to have recent experience of working with secondary school aged children, in a similar role, have a clear DBS and be immediately available.
