Job Details

An exciting opportunity to join a successful hire business as a mobile fitter, carrying out routine inspections and attending breakdowns on plant and pump hire equipment on customer sites. Monday to Friday working hours, with a call out rota and free parking on site.

Monday to Friday with a call out rota paid at additional rate.
Up to £30,000 per annum.
As a mobile fitter, you will be required to:

Fault finding, repairing and servicing a range of plant, electrical and mechanical pump hire equipment on site
Be able to work under pressure
Ensure all compliance paperwork is filled out correctly
Provide excellent customer service to ensure repeat business.
To be a successful mobile fitter, you will have:

NVQ or City and Guilds Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or mechanical engineering is essential.
Previous job roles include mobile fitter, pump technician, or field service engineer
Previous experience working on a wide range of diesel engines or pumps such as hydraulic, water or drainage.
Full driving license
CSCS card.
