Digital Programme Manager-Manchester/Home based in the interim- 6 month contract-£600 a day umbrella

We are currently supplying to a prestigious public health care body who are looking for a Digital IT Programme Manager for a 6 month contract in Manchester (this role will be home based in line with government guidelines at present).

One of the key priorities of the organisation is their digital workplace programme, which includes rollout of selected Office 365 applications.
Enabling an efficient digital workplace will create capacity across the organisation through more efficient ways of working. This will be done using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 suite of products to help staff work more efficiently and collaboratively.
.During 2020, initial discovery, planning and scoping work for the digital workplace programme has taken place. In 2021, this will require refinement of the business case, followed by detailed scoping, planning and delivery phases. This Programme Manager role will be supporting through that.

Key duties are
-provide programme management and delivery capability and have proven experience of running technology enabled and in particular Office 365 change programmes.

-Develop the business case to submit to the board.
-Establish a new programme governance board
-Run PMO to support the programme
-Providing ongoing programme controls including dependency, risk and issue management to assure the programme board
-Budget Tracking and reporting
-Benefits management and realisation and managing key stakeholders expectations.

We are now looking for a Programme Manager with experience of technology transformation- ideally in a healthcare setting as well as the following skills;??????

-Highly developed knowledge and experience in techniques for planning, delivering, monitoring and controlling programmes resulting in business change (MSP qualification preferred)
-Experience of setting up programme governance and quality assurance from scratch including managing boards and PMO functions
-Experience of managing programme budgets and tracking expenditure
-Experience of managing programme resourcing for large-scale IT/technical programmes (M365/SharePoint preferred) using a blend of in-house and contract resources
-Experience of managing programmes for rollout of SharePoint Online/M365/MS Exchange
