Corporate Finance and Forensic Accountant job in Norwich

Hays are pleased to be working with a nationwide business advisory firm, which due to expansion is seeking a Forensic and Corporate Finance Specialist to join their expanding team.

Working directly with the directors, you will gain experience across both Corporate Finance and Forensic Accounting. This is an exciting and hands on role requiring a "can do" attitude. You will be expected to participate in all stages of research, investigation, reporting writing and preparing files and supporting documents for the Directors both on forensic accounting and wider corporate finance and advisory projects depending as appropriate.

Preferred skills and experience:
You should be ACA/ACCA qualified (1-2 years) and must have significant experience gained within a UK practice environment. Corporate finance or forensic accounting experience is NOT required, and the firm would be keen to speak to auditors or accountants looking to move into a specialist area. Strong written communication skills are essential as well as an enquiring mind. No assignment is the same so a can-do attitude and a desire to learn is essential. Knowledge of financial modelling and/or advanced excel skills would also be of benefit.

Full technical training on expert witness and business valuation methodology and on the job training will be given as appropriate. You will be offered a competitive remuneration package in a friendly and progressive working environment with excellent office facilities. The firm will also offer you the opportunity for further progression.
