KS2 PPA Cover Teacher- ASAP Start

The Headteacher of a large school in Preston is keen to secure a strong PPA cover teacher to begin in school ASAP. The role will be classroom based in school and will be teaching 10-15 Vulnerable and Key Worker children. The role is to teach across Year 5 and Year 6 covering PPA. The role will be to begin immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year (July 2021). This will be a two day per week teaching role (days negotiable) following plans left by each class teacher. The current Head teacher has approached Teaching Personnel exclusively in order to see CVs of experienced Teacher who can work across KS2 Primary year groups. In order to apply, you must have recent teaching experience and be confident working across the relevant phase. The Head teacher has also specified that the children who attend her School derive from a mixed catchment area and backgrounds, therefore excellent behaviour management is essential. It is therefore important that when applying, you are able to specify in your CV where you have had appropriate experiences.

The rate of pay is expected to range from £100-£135 per day. This is based on a 6.5 hours working each day plus any additional INSETS and professional development opportunities. The Head teacher is very supportive of staff and will ensure you are given enough time to settle in the role and impact on learning as well as the relationships you build with the staff, children and their parents.
