Transactions Manager role in Dunfermline offering £35,000 - £37,000 per annum

Your new company
Our client are a well-known healthcare business in Dunfermline with over 54 business units across the UK. Due to a structural change, our client is looking to appoint a Transactions Finance Manager who will report directly to the Head of Finance. Our client operates in a fast paced and vibrant business with a genuine customer focus driving the people and culture. This role is a permanent role offering between £35,000 - £37,000 per annum.

This role would suit an experienced people manager with strong transactions management experience across a high volume environment.

Your new role
The Transactions Finance manager will manage a team of 8 staff across AP/AR and banking functions. You will lead the team and support the development of processes, improvements and support with challenges along the way. you will oversee an experienced team delivering on month-end requirements and balancesheet reconciliations. You will have a strong understanding of payment processes across an end-end finance function from disputes to sub-ledger accounting and have a pro-active approach to problem solving.

Reporting to the head of Finance, you will have an ability to present financial information that is succinct, meaningful and accurate with an enthusiastic and collaborative approach. You will ensure compliance to processes and drive for continuous improvements within team.

What you'll need to succeed
This is an interactive leadership role where you will support the team across all aspects of financial management whilst offering key MI to senior management. You will have strong relationship building experience having managed a team previously and have a range of experience to draw upon to support with manual and automated processes. You will be passionate about efficiency and attention to detail across the end-end finance function aswell as an appreciation of the month-end processes. You will support the statutory audit and maintain high standards across the team.
