My client is a Central London primary academy school, looking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and forward thinking individual to fill the role of School Business Manager.
Working within the Senior Leadership Team, the role manages the day to day operation of a thriving and busy school but also will look to contribute to the longer term strategic development. The person appointed will be responsible to the Headteacher for all related day-today matters including management of finance, payroll and HR. You will also be required to oversee effective use of resources in the catering, manage the school site and health and safety in liaison. The successful candidate will also been involved in more long term strategic tasks, such as looking at ways to secure additional funding for future school development projects.
Applications are sought from those candidates who have previous experience as a School Business Manager, ideally with the CSBM or DSBM (or equivalent) qualifications. You'll have gained experience in leading, coaching and motivating staff, with the technical expertise in managing and co-ordinating the educational, administrative and financial affairs of a school. Naturally, you'll have a high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with strong IT, systems, administrative and organisational capabilities.
