Lead JavaScript Developer

Its exciting times for our client in Swindon as they begin to expand their Development function in 2021, hiring for a dedicated JavaScript Developer to support them with leading on several projects, writing clean code and getting involved in the digital roadmap to help shape the future of the business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for JavaScript Development as well as an interest in technology. You must be a confident forward thinker who would relish the opportunity to be involved in an exciting company. A flavour of some of things you will be involved in will be:

• Writing clean code in JavaScript (React, Redux, Node)
• Leading on 1-2 large projects
• Completing enhancements on existing clients
• Getting involved in Sprints and Stand-ups
• Have input in the technical roadmap and creatively influence the direction

The role will suit an articulate, self-driven and eager to learn individual and as a dedicated member of the team you will be given training and have a clear career path ahead of you. Skills required for this role:

• 3+ years' experience working with JavaScript languages (React, Redux, Node)
• Good understanding of User Experience
• Commercial experience working in a previous Development role
• Understanding of Data Security
• You will need to be a self-starter, motivated and driven to succeed with excellent communication skills.
• You will be seeking a fast-paced environment where you will be part of a dynamic collaborative team.
• You will have a desire to pursue a career within senior development and/or management
• You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills

We are happy to accept applications from individuals who are perhaps wanting to move into a full-time JavaScript Developer role and are currently undertaking perhaps some but not all the responsibilities of a Lead Developer.

ROLE: Lead JavaScript Developer

SALARY: up to £50,000
