Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Heavy industry - Quarry, Aggregates and Brick Manufacturing

8 hour shifts running Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6:30am

£42,000 p/a + Occasional overtime.


Benefit package: 25 Days Holiday + 3 stats (Christmas day, Boxing day, New years day), 5% pension, overtime rates up to double pay, PPE & Tools provided.

Friday, Saturday and Sun(day) off from work every week.


Free time in the week: 2pm-9pm daily, most beneficial in the summer.


1 Day holiday = Long weekend (25 allocated per annum).

Night shift maintenance electrician supporting a team of 10 mechanical fitter/welders:


Electrical fault diagnosis & repair on a range of machinery/equipment.


Breakdown maintenance support.


PPM Maintenance.


Project work - Control Panel Wiring, Installations & Commissioning.


Assignments reporting to the site electrical duty holder.

Entry requirements:


5 Years minimum experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer.


Preferred industry experience: Recycling, Brick manufacturing, Aggregates, Quarrying, Mining/Coal boards.


Apprenticeship trained with a City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ level 3 qualification in electrical maintenance or installation.
