A growing and privately owned Insurance business with modern offices located in the City of London is set to continue expanding over the coming months. An exciting time to join the company as the finance team are involved in acquisition and Brexit projects. They are now looking to bring in an experienced Financial Accountant with insurance industry knowledge to join the team.Your new role
This role will be a home based role for the foreseeable but will eventually require office based working in the City of London.
This role sits within the Financial controls team and will involve producing the Financial Accounts for 4-5 Legal entities within the group.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bank reconciliations
- Journal postings
- Ownership of Trial balances
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- P&L analysis
- IFRS reporting
- Year end/Statutory accounts
- Ad-hoc project work
The successful Financial Accountant will ideally come form an insurance broking background. You will have experience working in a fast paced environment and be hungry to take on more responsibility. Ideally you will be in the final stages of your ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.What you'll get in return
