Our client based in Preston is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor/ Licensed Conveyancer to join the team on a full-time basis with 3+ years experience. They are looking for you to come in and take responsibility for a caseload of existing residential conveyancing matters. The business offers free parking and close to motorway links.
The Role
* The successful applicant will be required to manage a caseload of residential property files from inception to completion
* Will be responsible for managing relationships with clients throughout their whole transaction
* Will prepare and draft the necessary correspondence and documents for each transaction utilising existing computer resources
* Liaising with clients, lenders, third party solicitors, estate agents etc. in connection with each matter
* Will ensure compliance with practices and procedures as defined in the office manual and as required under The Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme membership
* Use best endeavours to attain annual fee and billable hours
* This role will benefit an individual who works best with autonomy
The Person
* You will ideally have 3 years' plus post qualified experience as a practising Conveyancing Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
* Have experience handling a large conveyancing caseload
* Have in depth technical knowledge relating to all types of Residential Conveyancing transactions
* Significant level of knowledge and experience within the field of conveyancing
* Strong IT & Systems knowledge, experience with Proclaim would be an
