ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR
Location: Stoke on Trent
Hours: Monday-Friday (40 hours), possibility of occasional weekends
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Our client is a well-established manufacturer who are leaders in their sector. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an organised and experienced Engineering Supervisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will have electronical/mechanical experience from within a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Working closely with production, operations and technical departments to improve standards and manufacturing efficiencies
Supervise and lead the engineering team, including assigning and developing engineers
Manage a small team of contractors (6-10 staff)
Proactively complete routine tasks, as well as long term project work
Identify and provide training requirements within the engineering team
Flexibility to be on call on selected days to ensure 24/7 coverage
Assist with mechanical/electronic maintenance across equipment
Required skills:
Minimum of 3 years' experience within a maintenance engineering supervisory position
Exposure to high volume production environment
Good hands on engineer that can work independently, with a well-rounded background
Must have an engineering qualification
Site Supervising Safety Training Scheme is essential
Need to be from a hands-on electrical/mechanical background
