Job Details

A Sourcing Manager is required on an initial 6 month contract basis for major rail organisation, based in Milton Keynes with remote working where appropriate.

This will be working alongside the Category Manager to provide innovative sourcing strategies for multi-million pound cost programmes, in particular looking at an asset data collection programme and the technology required to deliver.

You will be working in an OJEU environment and working to established Integrated Category Strategies through the development and delivery of sourcing activities. You will be responsible for key negotiations so a savvy, politically minded individual would be required.

Successful candidate will have a deep level of sourcing experience, providing a track record of innovative sourcing solutions and cost savings delivery. Contact law and financial negotiation and dispute resolution would be ideal. Somebody who can complete the full lifecycle of sourcing activity and liaise with senior level stakeholders.

This role is for a publicly funded organisation and has been determined inside IR35 for Limited Company Contractors.
