DevOps Engineer
London - remote working to start
£70,000 - £85,000

A leading analysis organisation based in London is currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer to join their growing development team who will contribute to the continued success of their products and technical solutions. As the DevOps Engineer you will design, develop and in some cases own the automated deployment, maintenance and monitoring of SaaS products, using your experience to achieve this within optimal cost.

*Be a key contributor in providing a continuous delivery strategy
*Create, maintain and optimise infrastructure as code across AWS and Azure
*Work with Technical Architects to provide recommendations to improve product architecture
*Implement continuous integration, deployment and infrastructure/application monitoring through collaboration with the product, security and infrastructure teams
*Implement processes to support the availability of appropriate pre and production environments for team members including Developers, QA Professionals and DBAs

*Two or more years' experience provisioning, operating, and managing high availability clustered environments across AWS.
*Similar experience and knowledge of environment management on Microsoft Azure is desirable for the role
*Experience with developing and maintaining applications written for AWS services is essential for the role including CloudFormation, S3, EC2, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS (PostgreSQL), RedShift, KMS
*Experience with developing and maintaining applications written for Azure services is desirable for the role including App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure AD, Azure Data Factory, Key Vault
*Experience of building and deploying securely to cloud platforms utilising private networking structures, policies, rules and auditing
*Practical experience working with continuous integration technologies such as Jenkins, Team City
*Practical experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef.
*Proficiency in relevant programming languages (Python, Ruby, PowerShell, C#)
*Comfortable working on a pre-existing cloud generation framework, creating or upgrading abstract modules
