Job Details
Python Developer / Backend Software Engineer *Remote Interview WFH*. Would you like to work on complex Video on Demand streaming technology on a modern tech stack whilst continually learning and progressing your career?
You could be joining a successful software house. As a Python Developer you will design and develop new features and enhancements on the core product that provides TV streaming VOD products / applications to a range of broadcasters and media providers worldwide.
You'll be developing high performance API centric applications within a microservices architecture, working with the latest technologies with a focus on backend development. As a senior member of the team you'll be commercially aware and communicate estimates / timeframes to senior stakeholders and make improvements to the overall engineering processes.
Driven by technology this company can offer a remote interview / onboarding process and work from home during the current social distancing measures with 1-2 days a week WFH going forward, when you are in the office you'll be based in a fashionable area of London with plenty going on, cool modern offices with casual dress code and the latest kit.
Requirements:
*You have backend Python development experience
*You're experienced with developing REST APIs as part of a microservice architecture and have a good knowledge of AWS
*You have experience with ElasticSearch and databases such as NoSQL, Graph, RDBMS
*You understand how to write performant applications that scale using Design Patterns and Data Structures
*You're collaborative with good communication skills, keen to share ideas and innovate, comfortable working with stakeholders across the business
