Bookkeeper

We are supporting a small PE backed firm in East Sussex who are due to experience rapid growth in 2021, who need additional support from a finance perspective.

This role will be office based 2/3 days per week with the rest at home. If you seek fully remote work, please do not apply.

The salary is as displayed given the current small size of the firm. This will significantly increase with service and expected business growth.

While they use a firm of chartered accountants for their accounts preparation and submissions they seek a highly experienced Bookkeeper for a number of duties that include but are not limited to the follwing:

- Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
- Completing VAT returns
- Preparing invoices for the Inland Revenue
- Checking company bank statements
- Reparing cash flow statements
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing

What you will need:

- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in small firms
- Must be a self-starter and can manage own workload
- AAT qualifications are desirable
