My client is a large, multinational corporate Group company, based in the Falkirk area. They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Financial Accountant to join them on an interim basis to cover maternity leave.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparation of tax returns for CIT and VAT purposes Manage the accruals for goods and services at the monthly closing date Monthly reconciliation of the payroll and the relevant entries for payroll and social contributions Manage the accounting records relating to company's assets Prepare Intrastat and IntraEU forms and the statistics required Capitalisation of Fixed Assets once approved by Group Responsible for Fixed Costs section of Income Statement Prepares the Balance Sheet other than Inventory
To be considered for this position, candidates must have the following experience:
Experience of financial accounting within a large multinational Group company Advanced MS Excel skills Experience of using ERP systems Experience of Group Reporting online tools Candidates should be part qualified and ideally working towards your CIMA or ACCA qualification or fully qualified
