Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter required for a fantastic opportunity to join a well recognised brand within the Engineering sector. Our client requires the successful candidate to have experience working in a manufacturing environment. This role is commutable from Edinburgh, West Lothian & Fife areas. 4 on 4 off dayshift/nightshift.

The Role:

Fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown or planned situations
Working with a planned maintenance system and reactive maintenance
Modification and improvement of machinery and the plant
Willing to travel across sites to improve maintenance functionality of each factory The Candidate:

Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills,
Heavy engineering/manufacturing environment experience required
Apprentice trained/HND or equivalent qualification
